Yuriy Lukanov

Yuriy Lukanov heads the Kyiv Independent Media Trade Union. He is a longtime supporter of  idea of the  journalist  independence from the authorities, what he is confirming in his  profession. At the time of the perestroika he has produced an underground newspaper, "Bulletin of the Rukh".  Issued  first independent book in the country  on the head of state "Third President. Political portrait of Leonid Kuchma  In two books of political epigrams ridiculed politicians of all colors. In numerous columns in the media criticized both the authorities and opposition.
